McGovern-Dole Program
 The George McGovern-Robert Dole International Food for Education and Child Nutrition Program helps alleviate child hunger and poverty by supporting operations that provide nutritious meals to children in schools in the world’s poorest countries. This simple formula has proven to be a success – providing school meals encourages families to send their children to school and promotes concentration among students. Friends of WFP and its partner organizations advocate for increased U.S. funding for the McGovern-Dole Program.
