Latest Development: WFP Responds to Conflict in Georgia

After conflict broke out in Georgia, WFP began delivering food to thousands of people who were forced to flee their homes. WFP is also providing logistical support to other humanitarian relief organizations that are active in the region. So far, 137,000 conflict victims have received WFP emergency food supplies, such as wheat flour, vegetable oil, beans, salt, sugar, and bread.
